  • Yes it's aged in cement or stainless steel for maturation, but it doesn't mean that they didn't put the oak staves or oak chips inside, this kind of oak material also can give the wine more complex aromas
  • Who has decided on the notes?
  • It's COAM (the WSET approved program provider) who provides the notes, they tasted each wine in our tasting kits and they write the tasting notes to us, so don't worry, the tasting notes are professional.
  • How do you choose your wines?
  • Our wine-choosing process is that we follow the requirements of WSET, for example, WSET gives us the outline of the wines-choosing like which kind of wine we should choose, like young/old wines and how many white wines should we choose, how many red/rosé should we choose, then we follow these rules and choose our wine.
  • Who has written The description of the tasting notes?
  • Our tasting notes are written in strict accordance with the different requirements of each level. For students taking the WSET L1 course, they only need to master the most basic appearance characteristics and some simple aroma characteristics. We cannot add the requirements for L3 students to the L1 tasting notes because most of our customers choose our tasting kits according to their level, if we describe the appearance of the wine as "Pale lemon-green" and the acidity as "medium (+)" in the L1 tasting notes, this is beyond the scope of learning for L1 students, we hope you can understand why we did this😊 If you are preparing for your WSET L3 exam or WSET diploma, we recommend you purchase our Level 3 tasting kits😊

  • The Vinotte has fermented or corked or oxydised, why is it happening?
  • It's important to note that defects can occasionally occur in the original wine bottles, such as corky taste, bretts, restart in fermentation, oxidation, maderized wines, etc. While these instances are rare, they do present valuable learning opportunities for our students to understand the nuances of faulty wines. Let us taste a sample of the same production batch and confirm that it is a restart in fermentation. We wanted to give you the best experience possible so we prefer to send you a new sample to meet your expectations if your training is not over yet. We sincerly hope that you will be satisfied.
  • The note says it has medium alcohol, but the bottle states it has 14,5%. What is the correct one?
  • The wine is from vintage 2016 but listed as youthful. How is it possible?

  • Why the alcohol percentage is different from the Vinotte to the bottle?
  • Regarding the alcohol percentages, European legislation allows a tolerance of ±0.5% vol. between the stated alcohol level and the actual level after analysis. 👉 This means that a wine labelled 13% may in fact contain between 12.5% and 13.5% alcohol. In addition, some producers bottle their wines in several batches. A wine can evolve slightly, concentrate, or lose a small amount of alcohol between bottlings.
  • I received my WSET Level 2 20ml tasting sampler kit and I'm a little
upset that it does NOT correspond to the tasting schedule required in
the WSET Level 2 course in which I'm currently enrolled.
  • Please be assured that the selection of wines and the tasting order
included in our wine tasting kits have been validated by the WSET
    organization
. We recommend contacting the wine school with which you
are enrolled to confirm when and which samples you are scheduled to
    taste
, as they will provide guidance tailored to your course structure
    and tasting sessions.
